Updates from Parks Canada

Parks Canada is excited to see so many visitors enjoying the newly opened Greenwich Dunes trail! We encourage Islanders and travellers from afar to discover this hidden gem and bring a friend! The washrooms at the Greenwich trailhead are now open. Facilities at the main beach complex are open and the surfguards start at Greenwich Beach on June 30th. The Greenwich Interpretive Centre is open daily, from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm, from June 14th to September 15th.

Make sure to check out some of the interpretation activities taking place at Greenwich this summer:

Greenwich Trails: Uncover the secrets of PEI’s highest dunes with one of our guides extraordinaire! Meet at Trail Head. English on Monday’s 10:30 am – 12:00 pm. French on Friday’s 10:30 am – 12:00 pm.

Discovery Zone: Get your hands on some fun, interactive activities that explore the treasures of PEI National Park at the Greenwich Interpretive Centre. English on Thursday’s and Sunday’s from 11:00 am – 12:00 pm. French on Friday’s from 11:00 am – 12:00 pm.

A’tuken / Tell Stories / Raconter des histoires: Discover the rich culture of the Mi’kmaq people through story, song and dance. Greenwich Interpretation Centre; July 31 and August 7 6:30 pm – 7:30 pm.
