June 2019 Greenwich, PEI National Park Update: Summer is just around the corner and Parks Canada is jumping into action! Here are some updates for Greenwich:

  • Greenwich Beach facilities are open!
  • PEI National Park Early Bird Season Pass sale ends June 15! Passes can be purchased at Ardgowan National Historic Site, 2 Palmers Lane in Charlottetown, from Monday to Friday, 8:30AM to 4:30PM. Seasonal passes are also available for sale online.
  • Surf guards will be on duty at Greenwich Beach from 11AM to 6PM daily between June 30 and August 18, 2019.
  • Together with the Province, Parks Canada has decided to adopt the international flag system for surf conditions

reporting. Beginning this summer, surf conditions will be found on PEI Now using a map and pin system which has also been used to update parking availability in PEI National Park since 2017:
Greenwich Interpretation Centre and Gift Shop: The Greenwich Interpretation Centre will be open 9AM-5PM daily from June 12 to September 11. Additionally, visitors may purchase their entry passes in the Interpretation Centre. The centre conveniently houses the brand new gift shop, which will follow the same hours as the Interpretation Centre.
Greenwich Trails : We invite you to enjoy the stunning trails at Greenwich and to experience the diverse ecosystems from field to forest, and pond to beach and parabolic dunes. June is one of the best times to visit!
