March is Red Cross Month at the Canadian Red Cross. The annual tradition is a call for communities to get to know their local branch and the opportunities available there. It is also an opportunity to learn about all of the great work being done locally by the Canadian Red Cross and celebrate the volunteers in each community who help make it all happen. Volunteers met with officials in communities across the country to proclaim March is Red Cross Month at flag raising ceremonies.
Join your local Red Cross in a flag raising ceremony on March 7th at 1pm. For more information on local programs provided by the Canadian Red Cross, please visit our HELP room in the Old St. Peter’s School, Tuesday or Thursday, 10am-2pm or call 902-628-6262.
